Darkness seems to be consuming me
With the endless trials of life
Like an ever ending tunnel without a guiding light
Going nowhere quickly like an empty void
Aimlessly you wander with no direction or end in sight
Looking for that spark or glimmer of light
In Fear you try desparately to hide
Waiting for the feeling of hopelessness to subside
Suddenly in the distance , a shimmer of light appears
Dissolving all your insecurities,sadness and fears
Hope soon returns and you continue on with might
In search of that wonderous guiding light
You suddenly realise the light was always there
It's in the eyes of that someone special who has quietly always cared.
