Easter is a time for fun with eggs & fluffy bunnies,
Chocolate & hot cross buns filling children's tummies.

But often in the excitement we forget the real reason,
Why we especially celebrate this season.
If it wasn't for a special man whose life He willingly gave away,
To save us from destruction so we can live forever & a day.
So when you eat your eggs & enjoy your time of leisure & play,
If it wasn't for Jesus, you wouldn't have this day.
